Rascall FlatsOn Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, CMA "Horizon Award" winner Taylor Swift will appear with CMA "Vocal Group of the Year" winner Rascal Flatts. Five studio albums into their career, the members of Rascal Flatts find themselves firmly atop the music world. The trio has come quite a way in the eight years since their debut, and yet with their latest release, Still Feels Good, they find their fortunes still rising; the CD contained "Take Me There," their fastest-rising single ever. This year's CMA "Vocal Group of the Year" win marks their fifth win in that category, tying them with all-time super-group Alabama for most consecutive wins in that category. In 2006 they were the top-selling artist in all genres of music; they sold five million units, meaning that 1 of every 14 country CDs sold last year was a Rascal Flatts record.

Taylor SwiftIn addition to her CMA "Horizon Award" win, Taylor Swift recently became the first female solo artist in country music history to write or co-write every song on a million-selling debut album. Also in November, Swift was honored as "Songwriter / Artist of the Year" by the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Her self-titled CD debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Country Album chart and went Gold in just 13 weeks and Platinum in only 32 weeks; it spent eight consecutive weeks at number one. Swift is considered to be the first bonafide country star of the MySpace generation. With over 26,000,000 song streams on her MySpace page and digital singles now certified gold, she is the voice of a generation of new country fans.

SugarlandIn addition to their recent CMA "Vocal Duo of the Year" win, Sugarland has been enjoying success with their latest release Enjoy the Ride, a follow up to their debut Twice the Speed of Life, which spent over 98 weeks on the country charts. "Baby Girl" is the Top Five single from their first album that put Sugarland on the map. Fans also loved the appearance on CMT's Crossroads program with Bon Jovi and the resulting No. 1 hit, "Who Says You Can't Go Home," which helped Sugarland cross over into pop territory. They recently appeared on the CMA award show and performed their hit "Stay," which is currently at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot Country chart.

Tracy LawrenceTracy Lawrence has posted more No. 1 Billboard country singles than greats like Glen Campbell, Keith Whitley, Ernest Tubbs, Wynonna or Barbara Mandrell. He hit the national spotlight in 1991 at just 23. A fan of Keith Whitley, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and George Strait, he blended these country influences with his appreciation of Southern rock. His latest release, Then & Now is a retrospective which spans his hit and award-studded career.

Also for sale are Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo tickets for $12 - 26, the Season Pass Carnival Armband December Special for $60 ($50 for CFD volunteers or military), the CFD Value Package which includes a rodeo and PBR ticket for $49, and the CFD Big Daddy Rodeo Package which includes a rodeo ticket, on-park meal, park-n-ride pass, CFD Old West Museum entrance, and souvenir cap for $38.

Since 1897, Cheyenne has celebrated its Old West roots with this eye-popping festival. The centerpiece of this Western celebration is the world's largest outdoor rodeo, which draws top professionals who compete for more than $1 million in cash and prizes. Complementing the daily rodeo action are behind-the-chutes tours, trick riding, and a wild-horse race. A Native American Village, an Old West town called "Wild Horse Gulch," a saloon, square dancing, a chuck wagon cook-off, pancake breakfasts, and an art show carry through the frontier theme. Rounding out the program are a carnival midway, an air show, top-name entertainment, professional bull riding shows, and several parades that include antique carriages and automobiles.
