Dandies Tryouts

Interested in becoming a Cheyenne Frontier Days Dandy? Here’s your chance to join one of the Daddy of ’em All’s most recognizable traditions! For questions, contact Halley Redman at [email protected].

Tryout Dates at Frontier Park Arena

October 3 at 10 a.m.
October 4 at 4 p.m.

You only need to attend one tryout date.

What to Know

Park north of Gate T5
Check in begins 30 minutes before your tryout
Bring the horse you intend to use if selected
The tryout includes an application, written test, horsemanship evaluation, and interview

Carriage Collection Display

The Cheyenne Carriage Collection proudly cares for the historic carriages featured in the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ parades and showcased in the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum.

We are excited to partner with local businesses and organizations who want to help share these incredible pieces of Western history with the community.

This application allows you to request a one-year loan of a carriage for offsite display.
